You’re NOT the sum total of your decisions and actions! Each decision and action step you take is dictated by the set of personal standards you live by and the principles you stand on.

Are you still hanging with mediocre friends, partying too much, don’t have a disciplined routine, waking up in the middle of the day?

If you’re stuck in the same spot and having a difficult time breaking through, take a look at your level of expectations. Are you negotiating with them? Sometimes you work hard (if you FEEL like it), sometimes you study, sometimes you treat your partner with respect.

Create non negotiable set of personal standards. No matter what happens during the day, you never deviate from these principles. They will keep you focused, discipline, and will help you sacrifice old, negative habits.

When you’ve committed to these new expectations, put a microscope on the details of your day, and begin making immediate adjustments.

Your level of sacrifice needs to match your level of standard.

Fire your flaky friends, redesign your morning schedule, have a heart-to-heart with your self-defeating inner voice.

This won’t be instantaneous success, but each day, take action steps to reconstruct your story. Leave no stone unturned – the tiniest detail you think doesn’t matter today might be the determining factor tomorrow.
